BIO

Steve is an Emmy award winning editor with extensive experience on a wide range of projects from broadcast television to corporate videos and web campaigns to documentary films.

 

The past several years of editing and finishing work have included four different National Geographic specials, ranging from mysteries of the Mammoths to the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, a 2-hour special based on the best selling book “Collapse” by author Jared Diamond, two documentaries for the Discovery Health Channel,  a series of live action stories for the Cartoon Network hosted by Jonny Moseley and visual effects work on the independent film "And Then Came Lola". Post produced and edited a documentary short film for the 10th anniversary of Katrina entitled "2nd Line | 2nd Life a Journey of Healing", two seasons of a sports trivia series for KPIX - TV in San Francisco, and a three-part  educational series for George Lucas' Edutopia website.

 

The corporate world has included work on a 145-foot wide video wall presentation for Hilton Worldwide, branding videos for Hilton Luxury brands Conrad and Waldorf Astoria, a graphics package for SanDisk corporate videos, graphics packaging for Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur of the Year” awards ceremony including over 50 elements, transitions backgrounds, and an opening video. Past branding and marketing video work has included Harley Davidson, BMW, Apple, Informatica, Dell, Cisco Systems, Oracle, and other technology companies in Silicon Valley. Additional clients include Borland, Novell, C|NET, Pioneer Electronics, St. Francis Hospital, Founders.org, NEAT Company, Rosetta Stone, Humanity United, Resurge International, Hewlett Foundation, Edutopia, Teaching Channel.

 

The world of sports has included 3 Olympics (Emmy Award for Editing at the Lillehammer Winter Olympics), World Cup Skiing, Mountain Bike World Cup Series, the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon, 3 years of John Madden’s Super Bowl Special, a kids' show for Sports Illustrated and NBC Sports.

 

The world of music has included a large segment of video and graphics for the Rolling Stones “Voodoo Lounge Tour”, Tina Turner’s “Goldeneye Tour” and Bette Midler’s show at Caesar’s in Las Vegas “The Showgirl Must Go On”.

 

Broadcast clients include: NBC Sports, CBS Sports, Discovery Networks, National Geographic Channel, Animal Planet, History Channel, HGTV, DIY Network, Cartoon Network, Time Warner, A&E, ESPN.
